Summary: Responsible to assist the admistrative assistant with all branch activity and customer service operations on a daily basis. Accounts receivable, support services, ordering, paperwork, inventory, communication, telephone inquiries, bank deposits, safety/ASMARK documentation, interaction with Central Office, and point of contact/external liaison with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Exceptional customer service in all capacities: telephone, walk in, e-mail, fax, scan, mailed correspondence.
- Professional communication of pertinent information to the Manager as well as to customers, sales staff
- Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Ceres Solutions software (AgVantage) and some use of ag-based programs
- Significant accounts receivable responsibility, and independent use of analytical skills to enhance service
- Create daily positive environment through behaviors, reliable punctuality and familiarity with operations
- All administrative support for facility, equipment, inventory and inspection documentation as required
- Perform all responsibilities independently, safely and in compliance with environmental stewardship regulations

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
