FLSA Status: Full Time/ Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Reports to: Branch Manager
Summary: Under limited supervision, performs duties in the repair and maintenance of customer and company vehicles and equipment; performs related tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supports Ceres stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values.

- Provides outstanding and courteous customer service.
- Continuously follows the safety guidelines and safety programs of Ceres Solutions.
- Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to diagnose problems in vehicles or equipment beyond the routine problems.
- Performs inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Responsible for the inventory and upkeep of company tools.
- Prepares and maintains shop and Ceres accounting records and reports.
- Assists in the monthly and year-end inventories.
- Performs other activities as directed by the Branch Manager.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of 4 to 6 years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance. Experience in diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment The characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
